I also made a googlemaps API from my tour of the world's (formerly) largest scale model of the solar system, which accounts for distance as well as size, with 42 feet=1,000,000 miles:

Thank you - wasn't trying to self-promote, but the tour is something I wanted to do for years, and making the googlemap thing was fun - just wanted to share it since it was relevant.

I like this video, but there's at least 3 problems:
- video stops at Mars for some reason
- where's Uranus? (how's that for a straight line?)
- Arcturus size is missing a zero on the end.
