Funny, but fake
If this is real infrared then we are looking at heat patterns. The tips of his hands are darker than this arms. Our extremities are generally the coolest part of us. The flatus should be white hot, not black smoke.

I'm thinking this was from a 'Haunting' spoof on SNL a couple of months ago, starring that dude from 'House'. It was pretty damn funny.

not neccisarily remember its taking heat signitures and converting them into colors which means some temps may show up as black. also thermo dynamic properties of gasses when released from under pressure casues them to expand which lowers thier temperature ( which actually measures the heat energy density of an object not its total heat energy)

You can invert the colors be it white as hot and black as cold or black as ht and white as cold.
Problem with this is that the exposed skin is white indicating hot, and the fart was black indicating it was ice cold.
I have heard of hell freezing over but, but farts?

That would be cool but its definitely fake. Anyone who's ever been farted on should know that the blast is not nearly as powerful as that or it would be able to blow a breeze through your hair. Also the volume of that gas is much larger than an actual fart. Its just some guy standing sideways and squeezing something out. Just like those videos where people pretend to fart out fire.
