Actually, anyone of us who have it will tell ya...RLS...sucks. It's not really a "disease" as much as an "affliction" but...yeah, it sucks.

Sorry to learn this. My take was that just because no one I know had heard of RLS before the mad rush to get the drug out, that it was just another rebranding of an existing med. You know, like how one blood pressure medication became effective for ED and how another regrows thinning hair on top of your head.

yeah, "RLS" is still bull. it has a lot more to do with RMS "restless mind syndrome" and, just like ADD, that can be cured with proper diet, plenty of exercise and maybe a little meditation now and again. You don't need a pill.

I used to have it. It does fucking suck. For me it was a physical compulsion. Felt like a jack-in-the-box crank inside of my knees. Every five minutes when I was trying to sleep I had to kick my legs around in the air to dissipate this nervous system energy. It was crazy and made no sense, but I would cry because all I wanted was to sleep and I couldn't. I was fucking exhausted all the time. My answer was to go off the Haldol. Just glad I didn't get permanent tardive dyskinesia.

i would leave well enough alone, but i wonder what restless feet syndrome is. i might have restless head syndrome, because my hair is always a tangled mess when i wake up. if the viral was for restless head syndrome i might buy some crap. but what do i care if my feet get any sleep? they shouldn't have had that cup of coffee after dinner. i told them they would be up all night, but no, they never listen to head.
