Re: Korean Robot Sentry
I glad I'm not the only one that this scared the sh*t out of. Rifles and handguns don’t even matter with this thing. How can the common man even think about going up against a government that has that? Revolutions are a thing of the past. Just put a few of those out on the streets after curfew and enforcement now doesn't need a free thinking individual to implement it. No appeals to the humanity of the situation will be heard. Strict enforcement without the guilt. This is what my Grandma and sci-fi writers have warned me about. Goodbye freedom: Hello THX 1138. Our only hope lies in the possibility it runs on Windows.
Re: Korean Robot Sentry
Just very well stated. Frightening? Sure thing... but those authors of days past had a keen vision of the path we were on. We're doomed as a species; Hell-bent on killing ourselves.

Yes, by all means, ease relations along the demilitarized border. That's exactly how I'd do it.

Re: Korean Robot Sentry
well, at least those didn't end up North of the border, wouldn't want Kim Jong Il to have those, he'd probably plant nukes on them.
regardless, i would not want to know the chaos that would rise if those sentries were infected with viruses
