Good Day, Mr. Kubrick
In 1984, director Stanley Kubrick placed ads throughout the U.S.
for young aspiring actors to send in audition tapes for "Full Metal Jacket".
Juilliard-trained thespian Brian Atene answered the call.

Re: Good Day, Mr. Kubrick
It would appear that there is a gigantic bag of horse shit looming just out of frame, above young Alec Guinness' head, as that is one of only two places a performance like this could be pulled from, and he wasn't looking behind him.
I bet he's the kind of guy that would fuck Sir Lawrence Olivier in the ass and not even have the god damned common courtesy to give him a reach around.

Ok, Brian. You go, Girl!
Didja notice the mild insult in there? "Though not as good as..." Yea, nice way to get accepted.

I think someone needs to add a fart track to this in the theme of the farting preacher.

I'm starting to think that this video is maybe fake... there is no way somebody can be that fucked in the head... at least I don't think.

This reminds me of the Yalie who made that ridiculous resume video.

Re: Good Day, Mr. Kubrick
If you've ever spent any time around actors who go to good acting schools/otherwise have reason to see themselves as "hot shit", then you'd know somewhere, deep down in your heart, that this video is real.
I mean, I could be wrong, but this video gave me flashbacks to drama camp *shudders*.

Re: Good Day, Mr. Kubrick
I know people who act like this upon applying to drama school. Some of them don't even get accepted, yet continue to act like this.
And, yes, this is real. It was actually sent in as an audition. Seriously.
