It takes moments to destroy hours of pain-staking precision.

Viral for some phone company.

OK, admittedly $18,000 - but there was a few more used in some of the ramps.

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
What's wrong with what he does with it?

He does what he enjoys and probably made twice that amount from whoever hired him to do that commrecial.

They looked like virtual coins to me. It's probably CGI.

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
yea, it's a shame he took all that money and ruined it by playing dominoes...
...or maybe he could possibly spend it AFTER he does the domino thing.

Who knows.

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
Wtf? It's a commercial. He's getting PAID to do that. Besides, it's not like he's dipping the coins in crap then tossing them off into the vaccuum of space. He still has them right there.

sarcasm is sort of hard to get across in courier font.

Ok, I'll play your dangerous game. Assume he does toss the coins off into the vacuum of space. What difference would it make if he dipped them in crap first?

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
I also hate to be a negative Nelly, but there was an awful lot of cuts in the segment. I'm assuming this was done in several stints, due to stoppages and simply from going and grabbing some cash from the other room that already fell down.

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
who are we to really argue against the fact that it was one take.. likely hood was that it was a small budget thing... camera wise... and that cameras were moved from room to room..... weather the money ended up in space.. and weather or not it was one take... can we appreciate it for the fact that it is a nice orriginal clip

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
Then again, the cuts could simply be due to having cameras set up from several different angles in order to create a nice unified flow of images in the editing room. Whether it was one take or a series of takes done in sections, that must've taken days to set up.

Let me rephrase my last comment.
"I'm a pile of Negative Nelly because I'm sort of pissed he was able to pull this off, so I'm trying to deconstruct his talent with conjecture"
Yea, that's more like it.

No argument, it was cool...

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
Not done in one take. Not convinced. Doesn't have the wit or charm of the car commercial. Dull.

Re: 10,000 Coin Domino Effect
But put all that aside and ask yourself.... Can you do this? If the answer is no, then stop complaining. I don't know about you guys, but I know for a fact that sitting that many coins on thier edge without having them fall or roll away is still a cool feat, wether it was one take or one hundred.
