Re: Steamboat Willie
That is correct, "Plane Crazy" was the first cartoon to feature Mickey Mouse, but "Steamboat Willie" was actually his third cartoon, "The Gallopin' Gaucho" was the second. "Steamboat Willie" was the third Mickey Mouse cartoon and the first with sound. "Plane Crazy" was released May 15th, 1928 and "Steamboat Willie" was released November 18, 1928. "The Gallopin' Gaucho" was made before "Steamboat Willie" however because Walt Disney had trouble finding a distributer, it wouldn't be released until December 30, 1928. So I guess technically, one could argue as to whether "Steamboat Willie" was the second or third Mickey cartoon because it was released second but made third. Also, Walt Disney was the original voice of Mickey Mouse, just so you know.
