I am staggered by the rudeness with which the interviewer treats Clinton. He asks him some tough and long questions (mixed with a lot of statements), and then proceeds to interrupt Clinton constantly when he attempts to reply.
Is this common with the Fox network? As an Australian, I don't get a lot of Fox, only the Aussie Murdoch version, Fox Cable & SKY.
One interesting thing to note here is that the Murdoch press said that "...Clinton lost it...", while the other media here said that '...Clinton pummels reporter..." - very different take on it eh?

yeah pretty much how fox works.
ya see, unlike the rest of the world, america has a little something called "free press."
free press means that the government doesnt control what the reporters say. they are free to sell what they say to whoever they want. of course the government is allowed to bid just like anyone else but usually the companies supporting the regime will take up the cost.
i often find myself awake at night thinking of those poor people in other countries... forced to listen to the facts when they turn on the news. if only this iraq war would end so we could get on to liberating more countries so they can have free press too.

While I agree with President Clinton's arguments, I have some criticism of his delivery. He only cites one source (Richard Clarke), and keep repeating the same arguments over and over. One could argue that Fox News does the same thing, and that he did the best he could on the spur of the moment. But he should have known he was going to get ambushed and prepared for it before the show by putting together a comprehensive argument citing multiple sources. For the Fox News audience, repetition may be what they are used to, but Clinton's supporters will find it makes it sound like he doesn't have as much to say as he had time to fill. Sort of like how his book (My Life) could have been about about half as long and would have made a better read :)

You raise a very good point and I like the spirit of your comments. I have some thoughts to share.
The right wing news media tends to tell their lies over and over until their truth isn't questioned. People belive it's true because they've simply heard it so many times. How many americans STILL think Iraq had something to do with 9/11? Why do people think that? Because Bush in numerous speeches kept associating the two. I think Clinton felt it was necessary to repeat himself to make his point clear and effective.
I also heard Clinton citing two sources, the 9/11 comission report and Clarke's book. But actually, I didn't see it as source citing at all, but a reference to a readily available source for people to go and find out for themselves. Clarke served many presidents under both parties and most likely is a dependable source and not just a tool for the leftists.

Owned? My ass. Bill Clinton just proves what a pussy he is. He was asked a legitimate question by a Democrat (Chris Wallace), and he throws a hissy fit. And you think this pansy would have stood up to Osama?
Boo freakin' hoo that he was asked about his failure to capture Osama. Clinton claimed to be "obsessed with getting bin Laden" on multiple occasions...BUT...he canceled a CIA plan to take him out, as well as turned down not one, but TWO offers to have bin Laden delivered to U.S. custody. If you liberal haters actually paid attention to the 9-11 Commission and not just the condensed liberal talking points version, you'd have HEARD Clinton, on tape, admitting he turned down the chance to have bin Laden in U.S. custody.
