Unbelieveable Korean Archery
Two Korean men perform some astounding feats of archery.
70m apple, 70m egg, 30m soybean, and finally, 30m piercing an arrow.
Could be a segment on Ripley's Believe It or Not!

Re: Unbelieveable Korean Archery
that was a special arrow designed to split. mythbusters difintively debunked the ability to do that to an impact or true hunting arrow.

Re: Unbelieveable Korean Archery
wow. I'm still totally floored by the precision. I mean the bow's modern design goes without saying, but, how do you possibly see a point that far without a special lens?
It's so Green Arrow.

It's quite obviously not splitting. A little more thinking and watching you might realize it is a hollow arrow that the archer is firing into.
Youre right the Mythbusters debunked the ability to "telescope" (that's what it's called) an arrow like Robin Hood, but this is not what those archers are doing.

Re: Unbelieveable Korean Archery
Forget the fact they still threaded an arrow at 30m.. that's nothing, its a good thing we have you here to point out how stupid they look.

Re: Unbelieveable Korean Archery
This is actually a clip from a korean TV show called Sponge, they take things that people send in and test them out. They decided to test out the arrow into an arrow possibility. The showed the robin hood movie for an example. The reason for the 70m shots before were to try and get the arrow to hit into another at 70m failed and decided to put it at 30m. They did mention that it was a slightly bigger arrow and was hallow. The clip shown here was editted.

Re: Unbelieveable Korean Archery
Yes, cause bows and arrows are used so commonly in modern warfare.
Unfortunatley, the Koreans will be on the enemy team that war.
