Re: What if Oil Was a Prescription Medication?
" Ford has the worst fleetwide fuel efficiency and the highest average vehicle greenhouse gas emissions of major U.S. automakers."
I looked at the site and couldn't find out how they got these figures. I think they sell more trucks versus cars than anyone else. They also sell more commercial trucks like dump trucks and Ambulances. These trucks are a lot bigger and heavier than a regular vehicle. It would make sense that the company that sells more of these would have most fleetwide emissions. It is not fair to compare a dump truck to a pickup. Not that Ford is better, but perhaps they are not really any worse. Oh well, I usually walk anyways.

I am a Journeyman Mechanic (many times over) with federal Red Seal certification and know a little about cars as well. I'm almost certain Ford does not make EVERY single engine as big as possible.

If people drove a small car to work instead of an SUV things would be a lot cleaner. They should focus on people’s attitudes and buying habits in regards to the type of vehicle purchased instead.
