Re: Twilight Zone: The Long Morrow
I kind of hesitated in submitting this one. While there are no great sci-fi effects as one might expect in a space flight story, the irony of the whole episode made up for it.

Loved it. The story recalls me of O. Henry's "The Gift of the Magi".
Re: Twilight Zone: The Long Morrow
Ah, good bit of matching the storyline to a classic. The hair and the comb. I remember that one. Geez, I am an old fart... do you think that's required reading for kids these days? I'm thinking no.

Re: Twilight Zone: The Long Morrow
I loved this episode; it has the exactly what made the show so good. The plots, when at their best, are so unexpected but still so seamless. When I try to figure out what is going to happen next, when I am sure I know what is going to happen next, I am so very wrong, but I feel that the ending is inevitable. It makes them so satisfying.
Re: Twilight Zone: The Long Morrow
Did anyone else notice the big flaw in their calculation for how long it would take for him to get there? 141 light years x 2 = 282 light years. The craft goes 70 times the speed of light. 282/70 = 4.02, not 40.
