There's something you don't see every day.
I wonder if only African Greys do that. Hmm. Would say, a sun conure be willing to learn that? What about a blue macaw?

It's interesting that most of the most popular performing birds are African Greys. Einstein the parrot can identify several colors, shapes, and has several hundred words in his working vocabulary.

It all depends on the bird, I think. African Greys are some of the best mimics, but I've known a couple that hardly talk at all.
I've also seen a parakeet with a huge vocabulary, though it lacked any sense of word association.
Then there's my little conure. She speaks Spanish, and I don't. Probably for the best, though, because I think she's calling me names...
