Everybody's so quiet in the stands. It's like obligatory clapping. I'd get a little more into a woman dang near having sex with a bike...Of course, I think this is in Germany, where people have sex with bikes all the time.

Granted, it looked a little bizzare, but you have to admit those stunts were pretty cool. I can hardly ride a bike going forward, much less the crap she was doing.

Let it be known that if you're a cameraman or videographer, it's not impolite not to clap. You're the cameraman. Even if it's your friend, or your daughter, and you really want to cheer them on, don't. Otherwise you get videos like this. Can we agree on this?

I don't know about you guys... but my bike doesn't pedal backwards... is it weird that hers does??

no it just means it likely not geared. with the chain connected directly to the wheel and the pedal you can pedal it whichever way you want.

those bike are called "torpedo" bike over here. I can be wrong but i think it was a brand of bike that was the only one to have this feature. Maybe today they do, but about 10 years ago they didn't have any gears, it was like BMX bikes. I also remember bikes that would brake when you push the pedals backward.

I just about lost it when she was fully standing up while moving forwards and backwards on the actual handle bars. I don't even want to think of all the injuries she had to endure to pull that part off.
Amazing clip, even though it is obvious that the bike is made for doing tricks. Great skill.

I'm a bit surprised that this so many of you have never seen this kind of sport. Well, actually it's most famous in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, the Czech Republic, France and Belgium and nowadays also asian countries like Japan, Taiwan, Korea and China...
It gets no media exposure in Germany at all, still I knew it exists.
