Re: Daily Show: Interview with Bill Bennett
This is what billo wishes he could do to guests. Stewart completely disassembled the conservative talking points on same sex marriage and I think he gained the respect of Bill Bennett for whatever that is worth.

uhm no. show with strong speaking left wing, brings in unprepared right wing to make the host arguements appear better than they are.

No, if you're saying that Bennett didn't know who John Stewart was, maybe you're saying that the conservative ass is so focused on defining people's lives for them that he can't watch a bit of TV.

Re: Daily Show: Interview with Bill Bennett
this was excellent, i remember seeing it on TV. the crowd is a bit lopsided, which kinda sucks and John tries to tell them not to be, but it was a very good debate. This is what Crossfire should have been.

Re: Daily Show: Interview with Bill Bennett
Definitely an AMBUSH. Jon Stewart makes me want to wretch. He's just trying to protect himself, because one day he wants to marry his gay partner from high school.

Come out of the closet, Jon.

Yeh, it's those suave and debonair types you gotta watch out for...heh. I betcha Bill Maher is HOT for Jon Stewart...

Since Fox News is basically one large ad for the RNC and promotional vehicle for Hannity, O'Reilley, Coulter, et al., the libs are entitled to their very few entertaining mouthpieces. Two words: Air America.

Somebody has been watching "Outfoxed" in their tiny little, Liberal world... Whatever makes you sleep better at night, sweetheart.

Re: Daily Show: Interview with Bill Bennett
Yes, the pompous condescension is a common front for those who bolster themselves up as "conservatives" because they are afraid of that boogieman Rupert Murdoch told them about called "the liberal."

I'm non-partisan and fine with people that sincerely lean toward the political right; I'm okay with people who question the need for gay marriage, want a strong military, and think it might be fun watching Barbara Streisand get hit by a truck. I'd even agree with those that said Stewart picked on Bennet using shallow talking points. Bennett has said some really stupid things in his career, but I thought he was reasonable and articulate hear, while Stewart abused the homefield advantage.

I must however, seriously question the intelligence of anyone who thinks Fox News is anything but ridiculous. Any person with a half a brain and any self-respect shouldn't need Al Franken or "Outfoxed" to see that Fox is to news what WWF is to sports.

Your smarminess is pure Bill O'Reilly dude. Wake up and smell reality. Or don't - whatever. You have lots of company. The same way, say, lemmings do.
