Punk is dead, and has been for some time. Not sure when but i reckon it either happened the moment some corporate douche bag saw the $$ potential of punk OR when the vast majority of people who have some taste realized that punk music has too limited a musical range and is rather tedious past the age of twenty-five. I'm not sure which is the case.
