At first glance these look like parodies, but the foodloop isn't *that* popular of a product. Almost makes me think these are by them directly.

They are boingboing'd, so if they arent yet, they will be. Also, I really dont think a manufacturer would use the word 'turd' or use murder as a selling point, no matter how much I wish the world would let that happen. Just a thought.

Meh, I understand exactly what you mean, but I really wouldn't be suprised at all. Obscure marketing is getting more common these days. Mega 64 is a good example.

doubt that they would be allowed to use domestic violence to advertice products. If the roles were swapped then people would have been complaining about this!!! NOt that I'm being a stick in the mud... just standing up for male rights.... not that that really exists these days.

That's the whole point. This is an Internet viral : it's not subject to any restrictions. On the contrary, the more shocking it is, the better, as it will be remembered longer.
