Re: Objectionable Apparatus
I agree, it wasn't exactly my style of flash movie, but I can't deny the fact that it was VERY dark and the artist is VERY talented. By the way, "Non Sequitur" sums up this flash pretty nicely.

Re: Objectionable Apparatus
Going to have to argue with talented. For story, it had next to none (I don't consider random events story.), and for animation, yeah he's got the 'rotate around object' effect going, but his character drawing and walking animations aren't all that great at all. Almost the entirety of the clip was zooms, pans, easily animated stuff.

But yes, it was well done, and stylized.

Re: Objectionable Apparatus
Without sounding TOO over-analyzing...

I did see a plot or two in there.
co-dependancy destroying the feminine,
conversion of the child to the parent,
child destroying the mother,
consumed by the past one sought to be rid of,

I got me an art degree, so I have an edge up on finding some sort of meaning from crap. If you don't believe in the power of overanalyzation, look up Kazemire Malevich and the Suprematist movement. All crap, all with extensive explanations on how it's not crap.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go delete my account before I get flamed to death for this post....
