Re: Thermite
I actually expected the liquid nitrogen to have more of an effect than it did in neutralizing the heat.

And now you know why you can't pick up a six pack of rubidium or cesium off the shelf at your corner grocer.

Brainiac actually isn't a G4 show, they import it from the Brits. Very fun show, the tagline of "Science Abuse" fits it well.

More or less, although there's a fair number of nonexploding messes and fun too. It's best described as Mythbusters with less budget, more crack, and no explanation.

... and less camp men wearing berets and handlebar mustaches.

The guy narrating/presenting is Richard Hammond, of Top Gear, whom, despite his tiny stature is quite a tough little guy.

Also, the guy's on Top Gear, which is just all out maschismo.

So, a bunch of this Thermite stuff packed into a plane flying into a building at 500 mph would certainly be enough to bring that building crashing down at free fall speed an hour or less after impact no matter how much Steel/Concrete is in the way.... interesting find.
