LOL. As a gothic inclined person, I found that commericial hilarious.

None of those songs would ever be played at a goth dance club...everyone would demand their Cover charge money back and leave. Damn funny commercial though.

Thanks for clearing that up for us! I thought all goths sat around all day listening to Cat Stevens. What the hell else are they supposed to listen to, Bauhaus? Those crazy goths!

When I was a callow youth, they called these kids punks. And as for a dress code: you were also allowed to wear white as long as there was some kind of organic stain involved. Being drunk helped in terms of fashion statement because MD 20/20 DOESN'T come out in the wash. This is valuable information I will pass on to my children if I live that long.

I think there's a difference between the Ramones and the Sisters of Mercy. I don't think punks wrote bleak poetry, or that goths beat up rednecks.
