Awesome. Sadly, when you have companies like Diebold, even voting doesn't seem to make much difference... Google it; you'll be surprised. (like this result, dated 03/05/04: http://www.motherjones.com/commentary/columns/2004/03/03_200.html )

Yup, the most memorable quote aside from that of any candidate in 2004 was:
O'Dell, chairman of Diebold last fall penned a letter pledging his commitment "to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the President."

Shockingly enough, he was asked to tone down his political image and just stick to being a regular businessman. That had to be rough.

Walden O'Dell: "Since he appears to control the voting apparatus of many voting systems within the United States of America, many fear that O'Dell had the ability to manipulate the results the Presidential Election of 2004. Since the voting systems of Diebold are closed source and paperless, it is impossible to establish the integrity of the counts."

Re: Apathy Dog Food
I had heard about this, and I was curious... Is there any way for a voter to retrieve a tally of their voting history? Isn't that how they caught some of the dead people voting?
I hope, but at the same time, I fear.
