It's a song about being a Jesus for somebody else, someone to give you hope and care. It's about how Elvis was her man and her mentor and how often that happens in love relationships; how everybody's heart is like a god in some way, and that's not a very balanced view of someone, is it?

Sorry, but the description added to this video is ludicrously inaccurate. Also, it's not a description, as its function seems to be to preach or to provoke.

Well, maybe not ludicrously inaccurate, though it still sounds idiotic to me, but it is certainly an ill-advised copy-paste as it ends in a question/statement. Also, is the meaning of the song its narrow original inspiration, or what the listener imagines it is about (perhaps in a more general sense)?
