Re: The Man Who Killed Osama bin Laden
Isn't it a bit weird that Saddam Hussein's body was put on show for the news, but Bin Laden's body was said to be quickly disposed of in the ocean. Hussein also got a trial, didn't he?

Hussein was put on "trial" by the new government of Iraq. I believe they didn't want Bin Laden to have any kind of burial location that could become a pilgrimage site.

I would have thought that Obama, being a lawyer, would have wanted to have a trial. Isn't everyone in civilized countries entitled to a trial? This is a very slippery slope. Also, it would have been quite the show trial and Obama would have had a real trophy.
