Yes JupiterJoe, and I wonder what else that overly-interpreted right to keep and bear arms could mean: can it include grenades, lasers, tasers, dirty nuclear bombs, certainly everyone should have the right to walk around with crossbows and mussle launchers.

Here in Ontario you are not allowed to have a radar detector in your car, it's illegal. I brought my radar detector from the States when I moved and have found that using it gives me a huge advantage because the Canadians don't have them and the police aren't expecting it.
If guns are made illegal I fear the same will happen with them. Only the criminals will have them. Also I find it extremely uncomfortable that the government wants to disarm it's citizens. Do people need machine guns? No. Do I need a 60" TV screen to watch a movie? No. Is my train of thought here turning erratic? Yes. LOL

It is true that only the criminals will have them.
Currently a person can load and carry an assault rifle, walk out their front door, walk across the city to a supermarket, get some groceries, and while checking out whip out the gun and shoot everyone down. The person isn't even breaking a law until the gun is pointed at someone.
If owning the gun were illegal, the person could be arrested and gun taken at any point.

Restrict assault rifles and bullet-proof vests and phasers and grenades and nuclear weapons; at least slow the mass murder rate. Governments do not any longer need guns to control and punish: they have monitoring devices and access to financial & personal data. Also, restrict ammo. Traditionally, democracy does not mean you get to have and do whatever you want. Am i cray leftie to think this...

Freedom for all and anything is meaningless with freedom with responsibility. Freedom, for example, to hurt youself and or others, is intolerable and impractical. To think that anyone can and should do whatever they want is small-minded and ignores evolutionary realities... yes, let us talk about other subjects in other relevant videos...

Holy hell, that is fucked up. I don't know that an assault weapons ban would really make a big difference in the long run, especially when handguns are a bigger scourge, but guys like this make me wish it would happen.

Yeah, that was the best part of the clip. Morgan asks why he owns an assault rifle and his answer is "to shoot pigs from a helicopter". How does that not immediately get you sent to the loony bin?
