Sometimes I got in trouble when I was a little kid. And sometimes my mom really yelled at me. And sometimes to try and win myself back into her graces I would say, "Mom you're prettier than Barbra Mandrell," and she would laugh. Barbra Mandrell is definitely better at pedal steel than my mom though.
