This helped me to remember how frigging frustrating old games were. You kids don't know how good you have these days! Even worst, if you got stuck, no internet. You could call a hot line for $15 a minute, it would be on a land line that had a three foot cord that wouldn't reach your console. You should hear an old mans voice when reading this.

I played this game a lot and still own it. It's one of the best games on NES but also one of the hardest. The fact that 'friendly' fire is always on in 2 player mode meant you would kill and be killed by your partner a lot if you weren't familiar with the game. Quite often this game would end up being a 1 on 1 fight between the two players, taking revenge on one another.

I've never completed it. Just to make it past the racing stage (seen in the video) on singleplayer is hard enough. Not to mention two player mode where if one dies, both players get warped back to the last checkpoint.
