That 'cup' is meant for your fries, not for your burger! Who dips their burger in ketchup?? Also, relax; there's no need to eat 15 fries at once.
It's, in fact, a terrible idea to mess with the paper cup after it's been filled with sauce, as you're likely to get your fingers dirty.
The video's kinda funny in the sense that it's effectively teaching us how to be a more sophisticated slob. I mean, it fails to deliver, but it does so with some semblance of style, which I, for one, appreciate.
