This is all true, and I'm from the throbbing heart of the country, i.e. Noord-Brabant. We make sure the rest of the country has lights in their houses and food on their tables and we have the best sports people and biggest brains. In fact, in my town, we have the highest concentration of autistic people around, too, and artists. Just some stats. Ten miles south of here, there is the best beer country in the world. To the east lies ze Germany, our most trusted ally in our fight against economic misery in Europe. In the west, there are the grey have-- I mean there is the port of Rotterdam. In general, there is a lot of water and grass and in these trashy days prostitutes are everywhere.
I can tour you around and howl annoying salespersons up into the trees, so you can walk or bike in peace. All you have to do is provide me with a fully stocked fridge I can put my snout in from time to time.

Why thank you. Sadly I don't drink beer, so I am unable the only positive influence our little nation has on global economy and culture, but somehow I am still flattered in a brotherly kind of way.

You should go try amuse yourself in some other way, like putting a candle in your empty skull and going for a stroll during the night, knocking on people's doors. If you're lucky, some may set their dogs on ya. Your bones will be scattered and buried in all four directions of the wind. In later years, patches of suburban grass will grow very green indeed, as bonemeal is quite a welcome addition to many lawns.

I think it was a joke, coupled with a larger Loqiequese observation about internet anonymity. This was just the source of his quote, which I Googled. Needled, yes. Insulted, not really. But that's not up to me, is it? ;)
