I once bought chocolate covered scorpians off edible.com, but they were out of stock, so they gave me chocolate covered crickets instead. I eventually decided to try them, and bravely threw one in my mouth. It was surprisingly okay... at first. It first was kind of like a chocolate wafer, but then came the insecty after taste, and the tiny pieces of cricket wings and legs that got stuck in my teeth and throat. Ergh!
Interesting nonetheless.
