Dog with Bone vs Dogs Own Foot
This poor dog doesn't even trust his own paw.

Re: Crazy Dog
I'm surprised he hasn't gnawed it off by now to a little bony stump. Looks like he could use some Doggie Downers...

Re: Crazy Dog
I think the dog is mentally ill, either that, or, it likes entertaining his owners by biting off its foot.
Dumb dawg.
Dumb dawg.

This poor dog doesn't even trust the string that is jerking its paw around.

Re: Crazy Dog
I'm with you on this one. Some of the movements the hind foot makes don't look very natural.

Re: Crazy Dog
Good lord, everything on the 'net is not a bloody fake. The dog might well be a victim of a neurologic disorder. In humans, it is often called "Alien hand syndrome" and is caused by a degeneration of the corpus callosum. Go look it up.
It causes limbs to act seemingly of their own accord. A human might be able to understand something is wrong: a dog would probably simply be confused.

Re: Crazy Dog
The limb looks like it's being overextended at a few points during the video.
Many animals, even food agressive dogs, would also get used to that kind of thing if they had to live with it on a daily basis.
At the moment I'm less interested in my being correct than knowing if I actually managed to get someone riled up over a five second post about an inconsequential subject.

Yea, I saw this on AFHV (America's funniest home videos)
I think it won.

Re: Crazy Dog
if there was a string the dog would go after it, not it's foot. no i believe it is real.

Re: Crazy Dog
If the dog couldn't see the string (say, if it were a piece of thin fishing line), he would go after the point where it contacts his body, in this case, his foot.

Re: Crazy Dog
I agree, plus, dogs are not as smart as humans but I still think sooner or later the dog would stop freaking out at his leg because the dog would realize that biting the leg caused the it pain. So assuming we have an at least halfway smart dog here then there must be something really pissing him off to bite his own leg even when it causes pain.

Re: Crazy Dog
What kind of owners just sit back and laughs when their dog is in the process of gnawing his leg to a bloody stump?

Re: Crazy Dog
I guess this is old...this poor guy has either been severely abused/starved, or has neurological damage. or both.
