Well, I guess that's one novel way for women to circumvent the usual long queues they normally wait in; so long as they're prepared to go in the Gents or do it outside.

My daughter used these at Glastonbury, apparently the portaloos are (unbelievably) quite clean.I don't think she wanted to take any risks though.

No they're not,but you are provided with a plastic bag to dispose of them hygienically.
