In this chill out video, a map of the world slowly glows up, in waves of activity, showing the cycle of life on the internet as the world turns.

Re: Netlag
that is amazing. people kinda sit at home and lookoutside and see the life only outsdie their windows, never really giving thought to the activity of the rest of the world. This takes you out and shows you the activity of the world, right down to the traffic in america and Europe, the beaches of the phillipines, and the busteling cites of eastern asia. One of the better displays of beauty using modern technology. I thought at first these were gonna be personal webcams, capturing daily life as people sign on and off at night, but i think showing a general area of landscape like a highway or beach gives a better feeling of the activity of life everywhere. very nice.

the music killed it for me
What the hell was that new age elevator music crap playing with it!? Totally ruined what could have been a pretty amazing movie for me. Even turning the audio off was more insightful of an experience than leaving it up. Who are these freak'n Kenny G wannabe hacks that noodle on their keyboards and think its OK to subject the masses to their freak'n sob take on "moving" music? Go jerk off out of the public view! I am going to start referring to this type of noodling new age garbage as the product of Indecent Exposers!

I would have liked it to be a bit faster, too. It was cool, but I could only stand the first half.
