I thought Americans regularly drive on sidewalks. It's in the movies and video games all the time. Must be a reflection of American social life, I thought, but maybe Americans are actually very nice and law-abiding and only go berserk in the movies and such. They sort of like outsourcing violence and reserve it for police, military, the secret agencies, and the President's private drone attacks?
On a side note, SUV drivers generally suck at driving, especially since the fairly cheap SUVs have flooded the market. If I see a woman driving an SUV, I go hide somewhere.
