Yi Zhao was born in China in 25th, March 1976. Currently he is living in Breda, the Netherlands.
ON THE WATER is his graduation film from his 4 years' Bachelor of Design study, specialising animation, in St. Joost Art and Design Academy, Breda, the Netherlands.
The film was made mainly in After Effects and Photoshop. From concept to rendering, the making process lasted 7 month. It was premiered for public viewing in 30th June, 2010, Breda.
