Re: Triumph at the Jackson Trial
Indeed. I clicked the link and went onto other business. When it started to play, it was obvious that the stream was coming more slowly than the running time, so I paused it and came back to it several minutes later.
I suppose popularity of the file on a fixed bandwidth host has something to do with it. Ya think?

Re: Triumph at the Jackson Trial
MilkandCookies.com is now hosting it, so it should be plenty fast, for those of you with broadband anyway. ;)
Re: Triumph at the Jackson Trial
Though now it is seriously compressed, for some reason...
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Good ol' fashioned lunatic gathering. Can't say that there would really be any downside to a fatal catastrophe localized to that area.

Re: Triumph vs. Michael Jackson
I'm surprised the headline title wasn't changed to Triumph vs. MJ going by the other headlines related to triumph. ;)

Re: Triumph vs. Michael Jackson
Triumph has some funny content on his dvd...this was excellent - better than most of it
Re: Triumph vs. Michael Jackson

Re: Triumph vs. Michael Jackson
Yeah, your right. It sounds cool now since he did have triumph at the trial by being aquitted.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
I'm amazed the jury voted Jacko inocent. I'm really surprised. The evidence was stacked up against him. I wonder if there was some foul play...

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
i think the mom lost them this case. if it were just the son, they woulda convicted MJ on something, but hte mother is insane, and clearly out for money, so it all fell through after her i think.
I think, at the very least, because of the emotional and financial stress this case has generated for MJ, he'll be damn sure to never ask for another sleepover again. That, or cut off those cahines of his. i think he can stand a slightly higher voice.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Listen, everyone, Michael Jackson is definitely wierd. Nobody will argue against that unless they are severely impaired by a controlled substance. However, in the American justice system, a defendant is not convicted on how wierd he is, but upon whether the People can produce evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty. What's more, the People have to prove this to twelve people. The system is stacked in favor of the defendant from the getgo.
Jacko could have been acquitted for any number of reasons. Perhaps the People didn't do such a bangup job with prosecuting. At any rate, the twelve people assigned to determine his guilt or lack thereof deliberated and found him not guilty in the eyes of the law. So, in my book, he's not guilty.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Wow, somebody with a brain who can distinguish weird from guilty! I mean you guys weren't in the court room, but of course you would all have a better idea of how guilty his was.
> So, in my book, he's not guilty.
This is the only point I disagree with you on. I simply don't know weather he is guilty or not in the same way that I don't know weather anybody else I ever meet is guilty of what he was charged with. But what I do know is that a court found that he was not guilty of the crime so he already has one point in his favor that the rest of you don't :P

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
I SO agree!!! Makes NO sense to me! Were the jurors drunk? Paid to lie? Wouldn't doubt it...
By: looloorex
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
They were probably just as ready as you to convict him until they actually, you know, listened to the trial.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Of course he's not guilty, I mean, he had gay child porn in the same room that he slept with the kids in, how could that ever indicate he was doing something bad with the kids *Sarcasm*
By: Da_Rook
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
So if he had gay child porn, why isn't he in trouble for it? That's way stupid.
Fould play indeed. The jury was probably a set of Michael enthusiasts.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
My mom's from California. She says Californian juries tend to be lenient, citing OJ's trial as an example. I have no firsthand idea, though.
By: tvthefleshtone
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
i was wondering about that too. he'd be put away for a few years easy just on the kiddy porn thing.
By: Everfalling
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Okay, if you REALLY think that kiddie porn was found, and nothing happened to MJ, then you're a complete moron. There was no porn found on his computer. No forensics found at all, anywhere. There were porn magazines found, though. It was all straight porn, though. As for the dude who said the evidence was stacked against MJ, you must be talking about public opinion. Cause the only evidence against MJ was the kid's word which was shot to pieces anyway.
By: HIStory135
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Fortunately, the court system doesn't dwell on public opinion. If it were so I'm sure that many more innocent men would be in jail, and many more guilty men would be on the streets.

What did the father say to Michael Jackson at the beach?
Get out of my sun!

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Bravo to that last comment!
Jacko never took the stand in his defense.
I think people really should make sure they're informed before they make such inferrences. (unless they really like to be shot down)

if Michael Jackson is innocent, then he is... if he's guilty of what they said he was.. then FUCK him.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Should he be buried or recycled?
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Pathetic post. If he was guilty you should have proved it while he was alive. Mocking him on the day he dies is the move of a coward.
By: gerrywastaken
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
This is a flashback, it was posted back in 2005.
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Fair enough, then the comment is aimed at the person that made it a flashback and not the person who initially posted it.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Now, I'm not sure (I'm not sure what Admin can do) but I think that's Jaxon.
Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
So I watched this again, this time after listening to hours of Michael Jackson stuff on the radio. He didn't even have the decency to warn me he would die yesterday. I would have taken the day off and spared me those hours of gnashing my teeth. Damned if I know why my colleagues at work wanted to listen to the guy's creations, even if they said it wasn't much good.
Anyway, this made my day again.
(I take it Michael ain't being frozen into that cryogenic tank of his?)

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
Oh crap...now I had to listen to his music entire day on the radio! I never liked MJ. Especially when he was topping the charts. Dancing on videos surrounded with “tough” looking guys was so fake ... and “I ‘m bad” concept ... I mean ... even Sade sounds tougher than him! He was selectively ripping off break dancing moves, making them more manageable and stage friendly! He had couple real hits, however I would blame producers and composers for trendsetting ... his managers just hired right people... most of those songs would suck without groovy bass lines and beats. I think people are giving way too much credit to him.
What screwed him up? It started with never actually growing up, and definitely not having sense of humour (at least not of an adult one). His success was heavily depended on his family, managers, agents, producers, video directors... They made him big ... that was never his fault. I think that dude had no deciding power, and once he reached superstardom he decided to turn back and rebuild his childhood, identity, sexuality and it went horribly wrong ... it’s almost like that movie with Jeff Goldblum “The Fly”, but instead attempting to teleport himself from chamber A to chamber B, he was more into trans-gender-race-age experiment. The Fly and MJ’s life both resulted in horrible ending!
Do I feel sorry? I do...he is not as bad as ... let’s say...Nickelback. I will celebrate when Chad Kroeger dies ... But for some reasons real douchebags never die!

Michael Jackson was killed by a bald assassin, police are asking the public to be on the look out for a "smooth criminal"
