I read a long time ago that people will swerve more to hit turtles over snakes... as a firm believer in the scientific method, I decided to test this hypothesis.

His experiment confirmed what I thought when I first read the description; "Who would purposefully run over a turtle?" I'm glad to see that the original goofy-ass hypothesis is wrong and the opposite is much closer to the truth.

It still means that 6% of drivers share traits with serial killers... and most of them are in trucks/SUVs.

My 12 year old, a deciple of Mario, loved the sound effect of the truck hitting the turtle. After we watched this twice, he even said, "Did you hear the one up sound?". I had no idea what that was, but I do now....
