I realise there are a lot of artists that float around in M&C, I thought perhaps they could explain how this video reflects the song? I'm at a loss.

Pretty song - weird video. I can only guess that her balloon head represents how seriously he takes their relationship. The boy and the slingshot are his "minor crime" of cheating (with his loaded idiotstick), and the popping and irreparable destruction of her and the relationship are the ultimate effects. "Stringing her along" also came to mind.
