Today, July 13 2012 would have been Woody's 100th birthday.
Recordingdate : Unknown, but a good friend told me this one is recorded in 1941.
Note : Many claim this is their song, but I think it was Woody's, or am I wrong. No matter what, I think it's an old beautiful Song, deep from the roots of the Blues !

I've been trying to find a copy of the recording of when he played here in my hometown of Asheville, NC. He played at a music festival here, which I believe was the precursor to Bele Chere, our annual music festival. Anybody know where you can find obscure recordings of his?
