It's no big deal, but in my opinion, it's a dangerous throwback to the myspace format. Dangerous in the way that facebook is designing itself into oblivion. I give it a few more years before the majority of people migrate to a new social network.

No big deal. You can have fun with the cover photo. I really don't care how my profile page looks nor do I go scrolling through other people's timelines.

Sadly enough, M&C is my only online social network. Great posts, few trolls, and not enough information to have someone toss my place when I'm away. Perfect for the guy whose first computer experience was a TRS-80 and isn't as comfortable with the what I bought two minutes ago being instantly posted by his phone. But then, I carry a pocket watch and barely know how to use my cell phone.
