Nice. But is this exactly legal? I mean, aren't the shows copyright and still avaliable for sale on a DVD somewhere?

You may be right, either way the responsibility lies with putfile and/or whoever uploaded the episode to putfile.
Nonetheless, Ren & Stimpy brings back some fond memories, seems I still haven't grown up.
Note that the voice actor for Stimpy sounds very similar to the guy who does Fry and the Professor in Futurama (i.e. it probably is him).
