An "educational" film from the 50s made by the local school board in affiliation with local police, targeted at teenage boys, equating homosexual men with stalkers, molesters, rapists and murderers.

This is fairly outrageous. They're basically claiming that all middle-aged homosexuals rape and murder teenage boys.
Also, homosexuals are apparently mentally ill, unlike the irrational reactionary fools who commissioned this propaganda in the first place.
The awareness campaigns concerning marijuana use are just as ill-informed as this movie, and, guess what? Cannabis smokers are generally denounced as rapists and murderers as well.
Man I hate ignorance.

I pretty much agree with you but keep in mind that the times were different. Scaring kids with hokey and corny clips like this was considered mainstream.
Ya notice how they didn't go into any detail about the murder? Just, "Jimmy traded his life for a headline." What, was that supposed to spark conversation at home? Dad (unless he was Ward Cleaver) would likely whack the kid over the head for even bringing up the topic.

The problem with such people is that they are pedophiles, Brooder. Their sexual orientation has nothing to do with it.

Really makes you think, how far people have come from then to today. Of course it would have been an even greater gap if we looked at African-American growth.

Wow, this film had some great ideas! Like that thing with the bikes? That's a perfect way to abduct young boys for sexual abuse and murder! It's like a how-to for gay serial killers. Thanks, local police!

That's the thing with a lot of "Awareness" programs, I once watched something on the news where the police were talking about pot with some kids, they were telling them how the "Bad people" produce it, what the seeds look like, how long it takes ect ect, It's hilarious "We're doing the community a favour..." By teaching them how to do it? no matter what "awareness" deal they do, it turns out to be a how to.
