This certainly would have been a great way of advertising the games physics engine, not that HL-2 wouldn't have needed it to sell anyway.

There is a mod for HL2 called Garry's Mod that allows the spawning and manipulation of everything in the game.

Hah. Yea..You can actually set people and all that crap. I watched my bro do it. He can make like flying machines he can control, and those Water-jetcrafts. :) He actually tried doing dominoes once. So yea, you can do that.

not really, especially considering the honda ad is a 'rip-off' of every other domino effect art piece ever made.

The domino honda ad, in my opinion, is nowhere near as cool. It defied the laws of physics multiple times. In this, I think you could basically set up the same thing on a vacant lot and expect it to work.

The honda ad was actually real and wasnt computer manipulated. There are quite a few articles out there on the process they used and how many takes it took for them to get it right.

yeah they showed it on g4 when kevin pereira showed off his "time well spent" learning garry's mod. he attatched garbage can lids or something to a tub, threw a scientist in, and had some fun.
