Amazing... someone can do this, and we're still stuck with fossil fuels? Ok, sure, it's all experimental... but when the experiment works, someone else should be coming forward to take advantage of it.
Then again, I'm like a lot of folks... I still want flying cars.

Yeah, 'cause I just can't wait to get cut off *from above* by some stressed out soccer-mom in her flying minivan full of screaming kids. That's gonna be so great!

Great piece but the description calls this a solar powered "jetliner". A jet is a specific kind of engine - this plane uses propellers, not jets.
Not to be petty, but I've seen lots of great footage of solar prop planes. I clicked on this headline BECAUSE it said jetliner.
