So with such a 'hit' is it safe to say that films before 1960 retained this idea that you could just come in whenever you liked? Ongoing entertainment.
Then with this policy, adding exclusivity/desire, established the importance that a movie had to be watched in its entirety, from beginning to end?
Also, I find it funny how the business guys in this documentary are so formally talking of this 'policy' as a key to business success "if you follow this policy, you will attract more customers." At the same time it's for 'your' enjoyment, as Hitchcock says ;)
