Probably because it's Phosphor Alpha all over again (meaning, the developer didn't expect their game to get as many hits, and is surprised that it's popular). Also, they're suprised of the high bandwidth usage.

The only solution is if M&C or another website (probably with no ads) hosts the *.dcr files.

(*cough*... Phosphor Alpha... *cough*)

Kinda boring, but just goes to show you what they can do with tiny game files. There were SNES games made that were less complex than this.
