The pixel roller does exactly what it say it is, rolls pixels.
It can be viewed like a hand printer, the pixel roller can roll out any image, video or text manually, at any speed or diraction, round corners and over surfaces.

Looks like a nifty sleight of hand to me. Going by the blue light coming from the "roller", the rate the pixels faded, and a couple other things, I'd say it's just a UV light charging some glow in the dark paint that was already applied.
Still a cool idea though, but this falls pretty solidly in the same category as that sound shaker.

Okay, never mind. I read further into it and while it does use photosensitive paint, it sprays it then uses LED's to activate it in the pattern. Still little more than a toy, but the technology has potential.
