Re: Coin Assembly
That's some interesting sleight of hand.

Aside from being an anal-retentive moron, I actually enjoyed watching a couple of times.

Re: Coin Assembly
I finally figured out how he did it. Very clever.

Coin Assembly *SPOILER*
First the grid of quarters is laid out

A B
C D

and then it is followed by the cards. The first card goes over quarter C. Then as the second card goes over quarter A, the magician picks up quarter A with his left thumb (the simple point of his index finger takes our eyes away from the grab). Then quarter A is dropped beneath the third card as it is placed over quarter B. The fourth card is placed over quarter D and the magician shows the underside of his hands. The cards are shown as follows:

D E
F G

Remember there are now two coins beneath card F and there is nothing under card D.

When the magician picks up cards F and E simultaneously, he picks up one of the two quarters under card E and shows us only the top of card E and only one quarter beneath it. Then he sets card F down while picking up the quarter beneath it and brings it over to where card E used to be (card E was discarded in the pick up). Card F is set on the pile and the quarter is dropped just as the quarter under card G is picked up. Then card F is discarded in front of card G while the final quarter is being dropped. Card G is discarded and then finally the magician simply turns over card D.

Re: Coin Assembly *SPOILER*
Awesome, Paelos.

Now can you tell us how to do the paper butterfly one? That one was the coolest of the bunch, IMO. =)
