Hello, I am a comment. I can be entered by simply clicking on "Add a Comment" under any video here at M&C. This isn't a particularly good video, but who gives a fuck? I'm a comment, and I can say whatever the hell I like. As a comment, I can let others know what I think about a video, other comments, or maybe even what I had for breakfast this morning (not a fucking thing - I'm a comment that, until just this moment, did not exist, and it is far too late for breakfast in this time zone.) As a comment, I can choose to be funny, mean, angry, sad, pensive, droll, congratulatory, supportive, demeaning, or even let your stupid flag hang out for the world to see. Comments like me make the site far more interesting. Say something, silent super-majority. Russian Jack Sparrow demands satisfaction.

What was that, really? It was a prank, and a poor one. It wasn't original, it wasn't especially well executed, it wasn't funny. The total of content in this video matches the total of comments (not taking yours and mine into account).
I'm not saying it shouldn't be posted or anything, but don't expect any insightful comments on the topic.

Hmm...I see. My initial comment was venting frustration that on that day, I believe there were two comments made on the entire site the entire day. This was just a random link that happened to be at the top of the Latest Links at the time. I thought you were making a broader statement. Yes, this link isn't worth the time of day.

I'm not griping. I'm trying to remind people that they shouldn't take good things for granted. Nothing wrong with that. I agree that this type of stuff shouldn't be on the front page, but I'm constantly amazed at how many hits junk like this gets. Curious - what on the front page now would you put into the same category? What would you want to see more of?
