Never been a Steve Martin fan. He seems to be the king of mildly amusing.

I think he got some great publicity over the years. His standup act (and Wild and Crazy Guys with Dan Aykroyd during multiple SNL appearances) was just a stepping stone to his desire to become a serious actor.
I'm not the biggest fan either but I thought Johnny made this clip more than Steve did. This JC is far better than the other JC that about 20% of the world worships.
