Its kinda a 1%er joke....only about 1% of the people who see this will think it is funny, but that 1% however, will find it to be pretty funny indeed.

Its great because it shows just how bad Shatner's singing is without taking 5 minutes to do so.

I can't believe I've never seen this before. Big chunks of my soul just withered and died while I watched it. Until this moment, I didn't understand why people gave Shatner such a hard time.

Don't be so hard on him. After all, if it weren't for people like Bill Shatner and David Hasselhoff, the world's media would be a very lonely place without any hope for the common man.

Okay, I've been having this problem for some time now on M&C... the videos won't load!
What it looks like: "Windows Media Player" logo just stays in the video frame doing nothing.
Error Details: "No combination of filters could be found to render the stream. (Error=80040218)"
This doesn't happen on all videos, but it does happen at least 60% of the time. Can anyone help me out here? I use Firefox, if that helps.

Incompatibility issue.
Suggestion: Copy the text of the link and paste it into your media player of choice. As a dreaded WinDoze user, I've had to do this many times since I've installed WinXP SP2. You may have to perform similarly.

The video clip above is a quicktime clip. You need a quicktime player. Media player thinks it can render this clip when it can not :(
