Use the arrows to move and the space bar to fire in this flash Galaga clone.

Slow to react on this keyboard but otherwise a great find. I was wondering if it was a flashback or I had dropped some quarters into my PC case.

Re: Galagon 2004
This needs some serious work. The aliens move too fast when coming into a new stage, they don't alternate formations, and their flight patterns for attack are not at all close to the original.

When you explode, you might keep exploding if aliens or missiles keep hitting you. And, if a Galaga flagship tractor beam hits the explosion, it will beam up a ship.

If you kill a Galaga flagship in formation while it's holding one of your fighters, you automatically get double firepower. In the arcade version, you lose that captured ship.

Biggest gripe: No challenging stages.

It's buggy, and not a very good clone.

Go get MAME instead!

Ok, ok, you're right. Being a clone doesn't mean it has to be exactly like the original. Still, I'm a purist ;)

However, it is still a buggy program, regarding the explosions.

Hell, if you're that much of a purist freak, buy the Ms. Pac-man joystick plug in for $20 which also has the Galaga game in it. Yeesh!

I think you're talking about the stage number indicator. It tells you what level you're on.
